Halo - Celeste Crawling Gold Aperture Pendant

HALO is a handmade porcelain pendant defined by a circular form and a textured surface, inspired by organic shapes and natural balance.
Each piece is wheel-thrown in porcelain and refined by hand. After a first firing, a glossy crawling glaze is applied, creating an intentionally irregular, tactile surface. The pendant is then high-fired to fix the glaze. Gold or platinum details are applied by hand and fixed through a third firing at 750°C.
Subtle variations in shape, glaze, texture, and decoration are an essential part of the making process and make each HALO pendant truly one of a kind.
The pendant is supplied with a black rubber cord, adjustable by cutting to the desired length.

HALO exists in two states: Core and Aperture.
One holds presence and density; the other introduces space, passage, and light. Together they explore balance between containment and opening, mass and threshold.

This HALO pendant is defined by a soft celadon crawling glaze that creates a naturally textured, almost stone-like surface. The pale blue tones shift subtly with light, enhancing the organic character of the circular form.

At its center, a recessed opening is emphasized by a delicate hand-applied gold line on both sides, framing the void and adding a luminous contrast to the cool glaze. The golden detail highlights the depth of the central cavity, transforming the negative space into a focal point.

A sculptural yet wearable piece, balancing tactile texture, soft color, and refined metallic accents.
