HALO - Black Crawling Gold Perforated Pendant

HALO is a handmade porcelain pendant defined by a circular form and a textured surface, inspired by organic shapes and natural balance.
Each piece is wheel-thrown in porcelain and refined by hand. After a first firing, a glossy crawling glaze is applied, creating an intentionally irregular, tactile surface. The pendant is then high-fired to fix the glaze. Gold or platinum details are applied by hand and fixed through a third firing at 750°C.
Subtle variations in shape, glaze, texture, and decoration are an essential part of the making process and make each HALO pendant truly one of a kind.
The pendant is supplied with a black rubber cord, adjustable by cutting to the desired length.

HALO exists in two states: Core and Aperture.
One holds presence and density; the other introduces space, passage, and light. Together they explore balance between containment and opening, mass and threshold.

This HALO is crafted in white porcelain. The upper section is covered with a matte black crawling glaze, enriched with small hand-applied gold accents that bring light and depth to the textured surface.

The lower portion remains smooth, pure white and delicately perforated with circular openings, creating a subtle contrast between density and lightness, texture and void.
