HALO - Blue Crawling Gold Aperture Blue Pendant

HALO is a handmade porcelain pendant defined by a circular form and a textured surface, inspired by organic shapes and natural balance.
Each piece is wheel-thrown in porcelain and refined by hand. After a first firing, a glossy crawling glaze is applied, creating an intentionally irregular, tactile surface. The pendant is then high-fired to fix the glaze. Gold or platinum details are applied by hand and fixed through a third firing at 750°C.
Subtle variations in shape, glaze, texture, and decoration are an essential part of the making process and make each HALO pendant truly one of a kind.
The pendant is supplied with a black rubber cord, adjustable by cutting to the desired length.

HALO exists in two states: Core and Aperture.
One holds presence and density; the other introduces space, passage, and light. Together they explore balance between containment and opening, mass and threshold.

This HALO is crafted in blue porcelain and finished with a matte celeste crawling glaze, creating a subtle tone-on-tone effect. Rather than strong color contrast, the piece emphasizes surface texture and depth through its softly cracked, tactile finish.

The central aperture is refined on both sides with a thin line of hand-applied gold, adding a precise luminous accent to the cool monochrome surface.
