Pulse II

A one-of-a-kind porcelain sculpture from the Pulse series, exploring rhythm, repetition and organic patterns through hand-worked surfaces.

The sculpture is wheel-thrown and then hand-altered to create its rounded, organic form. The lower body is covered with hundreds of individually incised marks, each filled by hand with black colored porcelain.

On the upper section, the pattern shifts into red porcelain, creating a softer contrast against the white porcelain body. Small raised drops of red porcelain emerge from the central area, adding a tactile, three-dimensional element to the surface.

Every mark and detail is individually made by hand, making each sculpture unique.
