Seed Pod I – Organic Shape Porcelain Sculpture

This one-of-a-kind porcelain sculpture explores the dialogue between smoothness and texture, openness and volume.

Its rounded, organic body is pierced by large openings that allow light to pass through the form, continuously transforming its appearance depending on the viewing angle. The satin-smooth white porcelain has been carefully refined by hand to create an exceptionally soft tactile surface.

Emerging from the top, a textured black porcelain element evokes the natural growth of a seed or sprout. Its rough volcanic surface creates a striking contrast with the purity of the polished porcelain below, inviting both visual and tactile exploration.

A small porcelain ring decorated with black inlaid dots completes the composition, adding a subtle graphic detail that balances the sculptural form.

Inspired by botanical structures, cellular organisms and natural growth, this sculpture belongs to the Organic Shapecollection—a series investigating the relationship between geometry, nature and material.

Each sculpture is entirely handmade and is unique.
