Seed Pod II – Organic Shape Porcelain Sculpture

Seed Pod II is a one-of-a-kind porcelain sculpture inspired by the hidden architecture of seeds and the quiet processes of natural growth.

The sculpture combines contrasting surfaces and volumes to create a dynamic balance between protection and openness. A textured black porcelain shell envelops part of the form, suggesting an organic structure slowly revealing its interior. Its rough tactile surface contrasts with the satin-smooth white porcelain, carefully refined by hand to achieve a soft, velvety finish.

The pierced white body allows light to pass through the sculpture, creating changing shadows and revealing new perspectives from every angle. A gently curved white porcelain stem completes the composition, adding movement and reinforcing its botanical character.

Part of the Organic Shape collection, this sculpture explores themes of growth, transformation and the relationship between solid mass and empty space.
