The surface is entirely composed of porcelain inlay decoration in black and white. Fine, hand-cut motifs radiate across the form from multiple quiet centers, flowing continuously over the sculpture. There is no applied glaze — the decoration is integrated directly into the porcelain body itself.

Carefully sanded and highly refined, the surface is exceptionally smooth and pleasant to the touch.
