This one-of-a-kind porcelain sculpture is wheel-thrown and shaped into a compact, rounded torus form. Its dark surface is densely decorated using a precise inlay technique, where small incised marks are filled with white porcelain slip, creating a luminous contrast against the deep black body.

The decoration flows continuously across the entire volume, generating a sense of organic movement and quiet vibration. As light moves across the curved surface, the pattern reveals depth while maintaining a refined, minimal aesthetic.

Unglazed and carefully polished, the piece emphasizes material honesty and tactile presence. Designed as a standalone sculpture or as a complementary dialogue to its larger white counterpart.
