Black Spore is a one-of-a-kind wall sculpture in porcelain, inspired by the organic forms of fungi.
Its dark, textured body is made from black and white porcelain, layered and sprayed to create subtle grey variations across the rough surface. Deep recesses and raised forms give the piece an irregular, sculptural character.
The smooth white porcelain stem creates a tactile and visual contrast with the coarse, almost stone-like surface of the upper form.
Handmade entirely in porcelain, Black Spore is conceived as a sculptural object for the wall rather than a functional vessel.
Each piece is individually shaped and finished by hand, making every sculpture unique.
