This one-of-a-kind porcelain sculpture is wheel-thrown and hand-altered, embracing the dialogue between structure and organic transformation.
The upper section features a rough surface created by sprayed black porcelain, evoking a raw, primordial texture. Below it, a softly contoured band introduces a refined inlay decoration: small carved cavities are filled with colored porcelain, forming a subtle rhythmic pattern that connects the darker top with the lighter body beneath.
The lower portion is crafted in white porcelain, deeply engraved and then smoothed, creating vertical folds that emphasize volume, movement, and balance. The contrast between textures—matte and tactile, rough and polished—highlights the material’s expressive range and the precision of the making process.
